Microgreens are highly nutricious, easy to grow, and a great addition to any meal. Microgreens are seeds that are grown tightly packed normally in a large tray, and in a small amount of growing medium such as soil or Vermiculite.
When the seeds you have planted have produced the first 2 leaves, it is then time to harvest and eat. The first 2 leaves, sometimes refereed to as True leaves contain everything that the seed can give to continue growing the plant. This is what makes Microgreens so nutricious, and a great boost all year round.
