To enable you to grow all year round indoors, it is vital that you have a good light source. Different stages of growth in plants require different types or temperature of light.

If you are planning to grow herbs such as basil, and parsley for example, then a White LED strip is a good option.

If you want to get as close to the sun as possible, you would need to consider a Full Spectrum, or indeed a Multi Spectrum LED panel. These LED Panels are larger than LED strips, and can cover much larger areas of growth.
